Contents cover

The policy covers sudden and accidental physical loss or damage to your contents while at home, or while temporarily away from home for use anywhere in New Zealand. Major household items under 10 years old are insured for repair or replacement. Other items are insured for market value.

The policy covers watches and jewellery up to $1,000 per item, bicycles and cameras up to $2,000 per item, collections up to $2,000 in total, paintings, ornaments and works of art up to $2,000 per item, money, vouchers or stored value cards up to $250 in total, unset precious stones up to $1,000 in total, and $15,000 for all jewellery which is not specified on the schedule. The value of any specified items is included in the contents sum insured.
